What is the sign-up process?
Go to the Registration Page, fill out the form and press REGISTER. A message will pop up on your screen with the bank details to make a bank transfer. These bank details do not appear elsewhere on the website so please write them down and make your payment straight away to secure your spot. Once we've received your registration information, we will contact you via email to confirm your acceptance into camp. (Please make sure you write the correct email address!).

What happens then?
Once you have made your payment, you will receive your Welcome Package. This package includes:

  1. Further information about NYCBC, such as exactly where to meet, what to wear and some of the things that will happen during camp.
  2. Information regarding your recommended heart rate, which we'll check from time to time during camp.
  3. A pre and post camp evaluation sheet for you to record your before and after measurements which you can keep after camp to show your improvement.
  4. Information on our free nutrition seminar, 'farewell hike' and 'adventure fun day'.

You will also get your NYC Boot Camps t-shirt on the first day of camp.

What kind of people go to camp?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Some exercise experience is needed to ensure your safety and a better flow of class.

What is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some short-distance running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training, circuits and jumping rope each week. On special days, we will go hiking. It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form, team work and core stability.

How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's common to see a camper go down 1-2 pants/dress sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone is different!

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve!

Core conditioning, short distance running, muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, fitness kick boxing, Pilates, sports drills, obstacle courses, matt work, surprises and more!

Exercises target specific areas that men and women need to work on. We make use of the natural environment and every day is different!
